Is It Possible to Be “addicted” to Drugs in General, and Not One Specific Substance?
Question by EastBay925: Is it possible to be “addicted” to drugs in general, and not one specific substance?
First of all I’m 19, (A college student with a 3.7 GPA not a bum) & my whole life I’ve had what is in psycological terms a “Sensation Seeking Personality”, or a “Novelty Seeking Personality.” I enjoy adventure (I’ve traveled to 4 countries, including many unsafe zones where other travelers were terrified to go) and almost always value an experience rather than being able to focus on long term goals. I also have ADHD so I get bored easily, and need stimulation to be able to relax the mind and focus on college work.I’ve also had a difficult childhood with anxiety/depression in the past. Now that you know my background here is my situation.

Did Cocaine Once, Having Panic, Anxiety & Blurred Vision Followed by Increased Heart Rate Everyday !?
Question by Cameron: Did Cocaine Once, Having Panic, Anxiety & Blurred Vision Followed By Increased Heart Rate Everyday !?
I’ve been having really bad panic, anxiety attacks, with tunnel blurred vision, almost as if you were in third person mode, i had a bad incident 3 weeks ago where i was pure pressured into trying cocaine, i later found out it was cut with novacaine, the day after i had a massive panic attack and was in an ambulance almost everyday, “even once when i was in Cancun, Mexico for vacation last week” everyday when i get up i’ll have blurred unfocused vision all day, followed by increased heart rate and a panic feeling as if i’m going to die, i’m kind of curious if anyone know’s what this could be and what would be recommended at this point to help it.
what’s disturbing me the most is the third person vision, almost as when i walk im a camera recording on someone walking, it’s a very uncomfortable feeling, it’s the main cause for setting off my anxiety attacks, i’m currently on 0.5 ativan (lorazepams) but so far no help.
